How Transcript it! works

Transcript it! is here to assist in taking the extra pressure of workload off your hands so that you can focus your energy on the fundamental part of your business. Files are sent to us via a secure portal and once they are typed up and spellchecked we will send them back as a pdf file for your approval. Once approved, they will be resent as the required file type. It is as simple and convenient as that!

 

To book a clerical job with Transcript It! simply fill in the Consult form for a free consultation on the Book a consult page and we will contact you to chat about the job. Once we have had a free consult about the type of transcript/document you are seeking and would like to proceed with the service, you can send your work through to us via a secure portal (we use Onedrive). The portal will require a sign-in and is used to send work back and forth throughout the duration of the clerical job. Email may also be used if that is the preference. The file will need to be in either Word, Excel, Powerpoint, publisher, pdf, audio, or a scanned file. The turnaround time for clerical work may be between 1-5 working days subject to the size of the file that needs to be completed. When work has been completed it will be sent back to you in pdf format with a watermark.  After you have approved all works the final copy will then be forwarded to you in the correct program and format without the watermark. With consent, a copy of your work will be saved on our database for future reference if need be. 

*AUDIO NOTE:

Please note that audio transcription is the most difficult to transcribe if the recording is not of good quality, especially if more than one person is speaking. Please ensure that the microphone is of good quality and the background noise is at a minimum to optimize the quality of your transcript.
